At the recent edition of Paris Fashion Week dedicated to men’s attire, Georges Wendell unveiled its Autumn/Winter ’22 line. Artistic director Pierre Kaczmarek drew inspiration from the vibrant world of Vaudevilles, resulting in a collection that filled the air with dramatic flair. The backdrop for the unveiling was none other than the quintessential Paris eatery, L’Ami Louis. Here, models emulated patrons, engaging in everyday activities—from capturing moments on their phones to sipping beverages and exchanging pleasantries—adding a touch of the everyday to the fashion spectacle.
The collection was a canvas of varied textures, where corduroy and denim took center stage. Inviting a playful touch to the casual designs, an array of prints were scattered across the clothing—spirited wine glass motifs, an assortment of stripes, and even elements that hinted at cinematic stills. Notably, the line also introduced an array of women’s wear that embraced the essence of femininity through the interplay of lace, ribbons, and the soft embrace of fur, presenting a visual tale of elegance and grace.
