Federico Cina, who has emerged as a standout contender for the esteemed LVMH Prize, recently unveiled his Fall/Winter 22 lineup at the iconic Milan Men’s Fashion Week. The latest collection, dubbed Ball’era 77, draws its muse from the historied ballroom festivity known as Ca’ del Liscio in Ravenna, which has been a cultural staple since its commencement in 1977.
Mirroring the casual elegance of the ballroom spectacle, the collection brought forth an array of draped and fluid designs. The repertoire featured an array of oversized ensembles coupled with statement accessories. Vibrant hues such as violet, emerald, and cerulean punctuated the collection, set against a backdrop of understated cream and onyx. These vivid tones playfully accentuated the intricate details, infusing each piece with exuberance and character.
