Recently, Solid Homme graced the Paris Men’s Fashion Week with an awe-inspiring Fall/Winter 22 collection, drawing from the profound influence of the Bauhaus movement and the creative minds of artist Olafur Eliasson and architect Einar Thorsteinn. A captivating showcase amalgamated performance and fashion.
The runway was encapsulated within a mirror box, offering the spectators a unique view through the one-way glass. The presentation oscillated between playful and poised, featuring models who not only strutted down the catwalk but also engaged in dance. The color palette was grounded in earthy neutrals, with striking bursts of red, yellow, pink, and blue. The creative director explained that the collection spotlights an “evolved silhouette with semi-oversized, comfy top fits atop slimmer bottoms that casually reveal the footwear, courtesy of cunning button and zip details. Iconic wardrobe staples have been ingeniously reimagined through cropping, restructuring, and superior fabrications. Meanwhile, technical and casual ensembles are nostalgically tinged via old-timey textiles.”
