The harp virtuoso Mary Lattimore recently presented an enchanting number titled ‘Equines Shimmering Atop the Ridge’, a beautiful cut from her highly anticipated album Goodbye, Hotel Arkada. This piece arrived on the heels of the spellbinding ‘And Then He Wrapped His Wings Around Me’, graced with the contributions of Meg Baird and Walt McClements. Explore the latest tune below.
Lattimore shared her insights, revealing, “As I was layering melodies, it transformed into something quite different. It conjured up a vision of edgy equines beneath a gathering tempest – lustrous creatures in a vivid field of green, with the rumble of storm clouds building, and a hint of nervous clattering teeth.”
The new creative opus from Lattimore, Goodbye, Hotel Arkada, serves as a successor to her acclaimed 2020 work Silver Ladders, and is scheduled for release on October 6 under the label Ghostly International.
