Katie von Schleicher eagerly unveils her upcoming record, A Glimpse of Schleicher at Dusk, set for release on October 20 through Sipsman. This album serves as the sequel to her 2020 release, Consummation, and was crafted in collaboration with producer Sam Owens, known as Sam Evian. Reflecting on the creative process, von Schleicher shared, “The moment we started playing ‘400 Pillows’ it was as if a comforting blanket enveloped us, it was just after the sun had set. Each day was filled with recording until dusk, followed by a homely dinner and evenings of playing poker. The album really took shape amidst these laid-back moments. I had this group of talented people around me, and I fully embraced their input, eager to let their creativity shine through alongside mine, rather than focusing solely on my personal artistic vision.”
