The band Another Michael captivates music enthusiasts with the release of their brand new track, ‘Common Ground’, a heartwarming addition to their soon-to-arrive album, Wishes to Fulfill. This single follows in the footsteps of recently released favorites, ‘Angel’ and ‘Candle’. Give it a listen below.
Lead singer and guitarist Michael Doherty shares insights on the song’s genesis and theme: “‘Common Ground’ is almost like a nostalgic snapshot of classic Americana and the elusive promise that seems to go hand-in-hand with it,” he remarks. “We spontaneously composed the song during a relaxed moment in the studio, initially bringing it to life as a group. It started as a robust rock track but eventually morphed into the version we recorded later on, capturing the tranquil and uplifting vibe we aimed for. The song embarks on a contemplative journey, reflecting on personal and collective experiences as we all strive to coexist and navigate the ups and downs of everyday life.”
Anticipation is high for the arrival of Wishes to Fulfill slated for release on September 22 via Run For Cover. Fans can also look forward to its companion album, Pick Me Up, Turn Me Upside Down, expected to drop in early 2024.
