Chris Farren Unveils New Track ‘Bluish’

Music artist Chris Farren has just revealed his latest single titled ‘Bluish’. This fresh release is a taste of what to expect from his forthcoming album produced by Jay Som, named Doom Singer. It follows the track ‘Cosmic Leash’, which made it onto our Best New Songs feature. A music video for ‘Bluish’ can be found below.

Farren shares some behind-the-scenes insight: “For the video, I faced a green screen while enduring the winds of a leaf blower, courtesy of my wife, for a solid five minutes,” he recounts. He draws inspiration from an animated short he applauds, titled ‘Asparagus’ by the talented visual artist Suzan Pitt, which he discovered on the Criterion Channel (a nod to his refined taste).

The much-anticipated album Doom Singer is scheduled to be released on August 4 via Polyvinyl.
