Brooklyn’s own musical talent, Hotline TNT led by frontman Will Anderson, is set to release their anticipated new record titled Cartwheel under the Third Man Records label, with an official release date set for November 3. Among its offerings is the track ‘Protocol,’ which has already gained attention and was featured in our top new song selections. The latest release from the album is the song ‘I Thought You’d Change,’ which comes paired with a music video helmed by director Eric Rahill. Discover the video, and take a look at the album’s cover and tracklist below.
“This particular track revolves around the evolution of a friendship, the unexpected turns to love, pondering if it was wise, and the desire to revert or maybe transition to a third, unnamed kind of bond which I find elusive,” Anderson reveals about the new song. “For the first time, I’ve composed a song with alternating perspectives, and it remains unclear to me which lines are my own and which belong to my significant other,” he shares regarding the song’s lyrical structure.
