The Rolling Stones Unveil New Album ‘Hackney Diamonds’ After Nearly Two Decades

After a lengthy hiatus from releasing new original material, The Rolling Stones have excitedly shared news about their forthcoming album titled Hackney Diamonds, set to grace fans’ ears on October 20. First up from the album is the fiery lead single ‘Angry’, brought to life in a music video featuring the talented actress Sydney Sweeney of Euphoria and The White Lotus fame – give it a watch below, and also take a glimpse at the album’s cover art and songs lineup.

Cities spanning from Los Angeles and London to Jamaica and New York have served as recording backdrops for Hackney Diamonds, with the visionary Andrew Watt at the album’s production helm. Notably, there’s buzz that Paul McCartney lent his bass skills to one of the tracks.

It’s been since 2005’s A Bigger Bang that the iconic group has mesmerized listeners with an all-original record, though they did tip their hats to the blues genre with a covers compilation, Blue & Lonesome, in 2016.
